What You'll Do:

• Conduct inpatient and outpatient cardiology consultations
• Manage patients with coronary artery disease, hypertension, and heart failure
• Read EKGs and echocardiograms
• Supervise stress testing procedures
• Collaborate with support staff including APPs, medical assistants, and nurses
• Provide follow-up care and patient management
• Support hospital rounding and inpatient consults as needed

What You Need:

• Valid board certification in cardiology
• BLS certification required
• At least 2 years of cardiology experience preferred
• Strong clinical skills in general cardiology, including CAD, HTN, and HF management
• Ability to read EKGs and echocardiograms accurately

About the Assignment:

You will provide inpatient consults and clinic services at a leading facility in Centralia, Illinois. The department manages a broad spectrum of cardiovascular conditions, with a collaborative team supporting your efforts. The schedule allows for flexibility, with coverage starting November 2, 2026, through early February 2027.
