Security Officer Part Time Patrol Operations

Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access. Monitor entrances, exits, and access control points; verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders. Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in alignment with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Guard card is required. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
