Harris Health is seeking a Supervisor, Interventional Radiology Technologist to join the Interventional Radiology team at Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital . In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care while utilizing advanced interventional radiology equipment to support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Working the day shift , you will perform specialized imaging procedures, ensure the safe operation of IR equipment, and collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

• Education :
  • Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Licensure/Certification :
  • Current Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license issued by the Texas Medical Board
  • Current CPR certification
  • ARRT Vascular-Interventional Radiography certification preferred
  • Interventional Radiology (IR) certification preferred
• Experience :
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a staff Interventional Radiology Technologist
• Communication Skills :
  • Above Average Verbal (heavy public contact)
  • Strong written communication (correspondence and reports)
• Technical Skills :
  • Analytical skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Medical terminology knowledge
• Equipment Knowledge :
  • Interventional Radiology equipment
  • PACS and RIS systems
