Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Digital Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of security-focused products that protect enterprise data assets and deliver security-by-design capabilities that enable data discovery, governance, protection, compliance, and responsible data use across the enterprise. This role will own the lifecycle of critical security tools and platforms, utilized by the enterprise. The ideal candidate combines strong product management expertise with a deep understanding of security principles, DevSecOps practices, and modern engineering workflows. Additionally, the candidate will leverage AI-driven capabilities to optimize workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance efficiency across security operations and product management processes. \n

\nThis role requires forward-thinking and strategic planning to anticipate future security needs, define measurable outcomes, and ensure products deliver long-term value. Success will be measured by risk reduction, improved data governance maturity, increased adoption of security controls, enhanced user experience and compliance adherence.\n

Job Description \n

Key Responsibilities  

\n

\n
• Define Product Strategy & Vision: Establish and communicate the vision, roadmap, and success metrics for security products aligned to enterprise risk posture and compliance requirements.  
\n

\n

\n
• Set Clear Outcomes: Define what success looks like for each product, including measurable KPIs.  
\n

\n

\n
• Plan for Scalability & Future Needs: Anticipate evolving security threats and compliance requirements. Design products that scale and adapt to future enterprise needs.  
\n

\n

\n
• Incorporate AI for Efficiency: Identify opportunities to integrate AI into daily workflows to automate repetitive tasks, improve decision-making, and maximize efficiency.   
\n

\n

\n
• Data Governance & Stewardship: Partner with business and technology stakeholders to enforce governance standards, data ownership models, stewardship processes, and policies that improve data quality, protection, and accountability across the enterprise. 
\n

\n

\n
• Manage Product Development: Collaborate with engineering and security teams to design and deliver secure-by-default capabilities integrated into developer workflows and experiences that support data discovery, classification, DLP, access governance and lifecycle management. Maintain backlog, write and groom user stories, and drive iterative releases using Agile methodologies.  
\n

\n

• Enable Data-Driven Decisions: Define and monitor KPIs to measure adoption, effectiveness, and risk reduction. Leverage analytics and reporting to inform prioritization, validate assumptions, and optimize product outcomes. 
\n

\n

\n
• Stakeholder Communication: Lead product ceremonies and communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs to engineering leadership, security teams, and partners.  
\n

\n

 
Essential Skills  

\n

\n
• Minimum of 5 years' experience conducting product scoping, discovery, framing, owning and managing a backlog (in agility or similar tools) of products for a digital product team.    
\n

\n

\n
• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating as a ‘coach’ partnering & mentoring early in trade product management peers across a broader technology organization. 
\n

\n

\n
• Strong understanding of security principles, secure SDLC practices, and the design of applications and platforms that enable data protection, governance, compliance, and risk management. 
\n

\n

\n
• Demonstrated ability to define success metrics (KPIs/OKRs), make data-driven decisions and plan strategically for long term product impact.  
\n

\n

\n
• Proven experience in Agile product delivery (backlog management, ceremonies, iterative releases)  
\n

\n

\n
• Understanding of modern software development practices, automation, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and security controls required to support data protection and governance outcomes. 
\n

\n

 
Desirable Skills  

\n

\n
• Experience with data discovery, classification, labeling, DLP, DSPM, access governance, privacy, retention, and regulatory compliance initiatives. 
\n

\n

\n
• Understanding of modern data ecosystems including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure, AWS, GCP, SaaS platforms, data warehouses, and AI/ML environments. 
\n

\n

\n
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CSSLP, CISSP, CCSP, CDMP, CIPM) or equivalent experience.  
\n

\n

\n
• Knowledge of AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Cursor) and ability to leverage them for productivity gains.  
\n

\n

\n

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is 120,000.00 - 193,725.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.\n

\n

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
