This position reports to the Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting and is part of the Revenue & Technical Accounting team in Sunnyvale and will be fully remote.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Develop advanced expertise in ASC 842: Lease accounting standards and apply this knowledge to support accurate and compliant revenue and lease reporting.
• Review capital placement agreements to determine appropriate lease classification (operating vs. sales-type) in accordance with ASC 842 guidance.
• Analyze non-standard terms and conditions in customer orders and contracts, forming well-supported revenue recognition conclusions under ASC 606.
• Lead and support automation initiatives aimed at optimizing and streamlining day-to-day revenue operations processes.
• Deepen functional knowledge of SAP's Quote-to-Cash ("QTC") and the Revenue Accounting and Reporting ("RAR") module, contributing to system accuracy and operational efficiency.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field with 5+ years of accounting experience, including strong hands-on knowledge of ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and ASC 842 (Lease Accounting).
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proven aptitude for quickly learning new concepts and accounting guidance, including evolving standards and technical literature.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Accounting experience in a public accounting firm ("Big 4") or in public/private industry (preferred but not required)
• ERP system implementation experience, including UAT, data validations, data analytics activities
• Experience with SAP (ECC or S/4HANA platforms) and SAP RAR module
