Payroll ClerkRecruiter: LHHLocation: Oklahoma City, OklahomaPay: $18 - $22 / HourContract: ContractorPayroll ClerkLocation: Oklahoma City, OKJob Type: Full-TimeSchedule: Monday-Friday 8 to 5 onsiteCompensation: Competitive salary based on experienceKey ResponsibilitiesProcess weekly, biweekly, or semi-monthly payroll information with a high degree of accuracyReview employee time records, attendance data, and payroll entries for completenessEnter payroll-related information into payroll and HR systemsInvestigate and resolve discrepancies involving pay, hours worked, deductions, or employee recordsMaintain payroll files and supporting documentation in accordance with company guidelinesAssist with employee questions regarding pay statements, deductions, and payroll proceduresSupport new hire setup, employee record updates, and payroll-related changesVerify payroll calculations, adjustments, bonuses, and other compensation transactionsGenerate payroll reports and assist with audits as neededPartner with accounting, human resources, and management teams to ensure payroll accuracy and complianceQualificationsPrevious experience in payroll administration, payroll support, accounting, bookkeeping, or a related roleUnderstanding of payroll processes, wage calculations, and employee record maintenanceStrong data entry skills with excellent attention to detailProficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applicationsExperience working with payroll software, HRIS platforms, or ERP systems preferredAbility to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretionStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to meet recurring deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred QualificationsAssociate degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business, or a related fieldExperience with payroll platforms such as ADP, UKG, Paycom, Workday, or similar systemsFamiliarity with payroll taxes, deductions, benefits administration, and compliance requirementsExperience supporting multi-state or high-volume payroll operationsBenefitsCareer development and advancement potentialStable and supportive work environmentWhy Consider This Opportunity?This position offers the chance to become an integral part of a growing organization while developing valuable payroll and financial administration experience.
