HR Operations Specialist - Paylocity Expert

Responsibilities Acts as the subject‑matter expert on Paylocity (Onboarding, HR & Payroll, Performance) supporting the company’s workforce management and operations. Stays current with Paylocity’s new and enhanced system features (e.g., Elevate Newsletter, knowledge center) to educate employees on changes that affect the user experience and identifies opportunities to better leverage the tool in line with HR initiatives. Audits and processes new hires using Paylocity’s onboarding tool, submits IT tickets for new‑hire emails, and registers hires with The Awards Network. Conducts I‑9 re‑verification audits via the Playlocity dashboard and obtains mandatory documentation for employee files. Assists the SVP, Human Resources, in implementing, deploying, and tracking corporate‑wide initiatives through Paylocity and other systems (e.g., monthly MoM winners, Google Review winners, annual performance appraisals). Inputs changes in Paylocity concerning reporting structures, job‑title changes, time‑and‑labor data, and any other mandatory data; notifies the Benefit Administrator and Payroll of role‑type changes (e.g., propelling an individual contributor to manager). Prepares employment‑verification letters, Florida unemployment claims, and other mandatory correspondence. Runs mandatory weekly termination reports and other mandatory reports as required. Executes mandatory special projects mandated by business needs.
