Role Responsibilities - Your Impact

• Conduct essential and advanced clinical laboratory evaluations-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and others-in accordance with established guidelines.
• Scrutinize test outcomes for precision, resolve discrepancies, and routinely maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Assist with the collection of specimens and prepare samples for analysis when required.
• Keep thorough documentation of all procedures, train newcomers or students, and help reinforce laboratory quality measures.
• Foster a safe and clean working atmosphere while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree along with plans for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Needed

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be achieved within the first year of employment.
• Continual maintenance of your certification throughout your career.
