What You Will Do

• Conduct a variety of routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-ranging from chemistry to hematology and immunology-adhering to precise protocols.
• Scrutinize results for accuracy, rectify issues, and perform necessary preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen gathering and prepare samples for analysis as needed.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of procedures, provide training to newcomers or students, and help uphold the highest quality standards in the lab.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment while fully adhering to regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health certification, coupled with the ability to obtain ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be acquired within one year from your date of hire.
• Maintain current certification throughout the duration of your employment.
