Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct both standard and complex clinical laboratory tests-covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and other essential areas-adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, address discrepancies, and carry out regular maintenance and calibration on laboratory devices.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples meticulously for subsequent analysis as needed.
• Thoroughly document procedures, assist in onboarding new staff or students, and uphold quality control practices in the lab.
• Ensure a well-maintained, safe working environment, meeting regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree, with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Acquire ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire.
• Maintain your certification throughout your employment.
