Civilian Human Resource Specialist Duties
Serve as liaison to supervisors, partnering agencies, and installation personnel, providing guidance on civilian human resource regulations, and procedures.
Coordinate, process, and monitor civilian personnel actions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policy and mission requirements.
Assist managers with hiring actions, skill/knowledge requirements, organizational changes, and position structure reviews to support mission alignment.
Develop, analyze, and verify personnel data and reports using automated human resource systems, ensuring data integrity and supporting management planning.
Provide guidance and oversight for performance management, ensuring timely, accurate submission of appraisals and identifying trends or issues.
Manage employee awards and recognition programs.
Assist with developing and delivering training, workshops, briefings, and onboarding/out-processing guidance for civilian personnel.
Maintain time and attendance records as the department timekeeper, ensuring accurate entry and administration.
