We are looking for a QC Inspector to support our production goals through consistent quality work! The QC Inspector will e v aluate assemblie s and fini s hed product s to en s ure conformance to drawing requirements, s pecification s and approved procedure s. Th i s po s ition i s re s ponsible for en s uring that good manufacturing practice s and good documentation practices a r e ma i ntained in manufacturing and the coordination of the non-conform i ng proces s. The QC Inspector shall provide direction and leader s hip to one or more inspectors in daily s cheduling and performance of work. Maintain a positive attitude while w o r k i ng i n a fa s t-paced and demanding manufactur i n g env i ronment and dealing with shift i n g priorit ies. Other Duties / Expectations: Skills: Must have strong organization skills and attention to detail Must have strong leadership skills Demonstrate basic computer skills and perform basic computer operations Scheduling: Provide direction and scheduling of department workloads Provide Quality related training activities for both Quality and Manufacturing Department Inspections: Perform in-process, receiving and final quality inspections to assure compliance to specifications and engineered drawings. Travel to local suppliers to perform in process and/or final inspection audits when needed. Support QC Manager facilitate Third Party Inspector visits. Improving the Quality Department: Identifies problems, and proposes resolutions that are timely, cost-effective, and meet quality requirements Takes on new challenges and expanding roles to assist with growing demands within different areas of the Quality Department Works closely with Management to provide and implement new ways for improvement Reports: Issue and complete Non-Conformance Reports. Physical Requirements: Mobility in plant Ability to lift at least 45 pounds Visual hearing abilities with or without correction Communication Skills Education/Experience Requirements: High School diploma or GED Minimum of 3 years experience in a quality assurance/ quality control environment Required Skills: Basic Computer Skills Customer Service Skills Fabrication Skills Bilingual is a plus Basic Math Skills, Shop Math Trigonometry Ability to read and work form blueprints and operator instructions Ability to read precision measuring instruments, height gauges, calibration of hand tools Knowledge on Non-Destructive Examination MT and PT (with minimum Certificate of attendance to formal training for 40 hours of classroom/online training) Welding and Piping fabrication experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
