Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Plate Roll Operator to join a fabrication team in Sand Springs, OK . This hands-on role is responsible for operating plate rolling equipment to form steel components used in industrial fabrication projects.

Required Experience & Skills
• Minimum 2+ years of plate rolling or similar fabrication experience REQUIRED
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Ability to accurately use a tape measure and measuring tools
• Experience operating or working around forklifts and overhead cranes
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to part accuracy
• Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures
• Ability to work effectively in a fabrication team environment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic are required

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Operate plate rolling machines to form metal into cylinders, cones, and curved components
• Read blueprints and verify dimensions to ensure production accuracy
• Adjust machine rolls, settings, and positioning for proper shaping and forming
• Load and move heavy materials using cranes, hoists, or material handling equipment
• Inspect finished components for roundness, dimensional accuracy, and overall quality
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all production schedules, fabrication standards, and workplace safety procedures
• Support additional shop tasks as needed

Work Environment
• Industrial fabrication / manufacturing shop environment
• Exposure to machinery, steel materials, industrial noise, dust, and active production areas
• Physically demanding role requiring standing, lifting, bending, repetitive movement, and PPE compliance
