With proven experience in virtually all workable alloys, Spincraft components and assemblies can be found in today's most advanced space launch vehicles, commercial and military aircraft, nuclear submarines, critical defense systems, land-based gas turbines and more.What You'll DoReporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine and emergency maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems to ensure optimal production efficiency and safety.Schedule: 7:00AM-3:30PMTechnical JobPerform preventative maintenance on CNC machine tools, spinning lathes, ovens, overhead cranes and various manufacturing equipmentDemonstrate and apply knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, lubrication and electricityAssist outside contractors on overhaul and repair to machine tools, facility improvements and other projectsEnsure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, hydraulics, and production machinesRead and follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications to troubleshoot malfunctionsConserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job resultsProvide mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requestsMaintain shop by sweeping, mopping and operating cleaning equipment to efficiently clean areasPerform routine machine maintenance, filter change, battery inspection, fluid inspection, etc.Perform seasonal building maintenance, such as snow removal, painting, or trash pick-upUnderstand and follow lockout tagout requirementsUtilize, track, and update Maintenance Ticketing softwareTravel between facilities and part suppliers may be required, in which case mileage reimbursement is providedAccurately execute PCS (Process Control Sheets) and provide feedback when revisions are neededAssist Engineering with the implementation, creation, and maintenance of PCSDocument actions by completing production and quality logs as neededAccomplish organization goals by actively exploring opportunities to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. (SQDC)Train others by openly sharing information, knowledge, and expertise with the teamComplete job assignments as directed by Facilities or Manufacturing ManagerAttend meetings, trainings, and participate in audits as directedSafetyMaintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulationsComply with all company rules including company safety policy and all federal, state, local, and other safety regulations and practicesUse personal protective equipment and devices provided for machinery, equipment, tools and processes, when defined in PCS, Company Safety Policy, Job Safety Analysis or Management directionReport all unsafe conditions, accidents and injuries immediately to managementHousekeepingActively participate in 6S and lean activities as outlined by the CompanyMaintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following Company instructionsMaintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needsStore and maintain tools, equipment and gauges as defined by company standardsKeep work area clean and organized to company standards/expectationsDaily cleaning and sweeping of work area, tools and equipmentEmpty trash and waste as neededPersonal items removed from workstationsWhat You'll BringHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Maintenance TechnicianDemonstrate a basic understanding & interpretation of wiring diagrams, schematics, flow diagrams, etc.Forklift experience is preferredReliable transportationStrong interpersonal and problem-solving skillsAbility to effectively manage time, multi-task, and pay close attention to detailsSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamCapable of following directionsTake responsibility for achieving production efficiency, quality of product and reports discrepant material immediatelyDemonstrate customer focus by seeking out, understanding, and responding to the needs of both internal and external customersMaintain a positive attitude and communicate openly and honestly with othersSolve problems proactively and contribute to continuously improving the process/productAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periodsComfortable working in environments with noise, heat, or dustRegularly required to move, sit, and bend for various hours throughout the dayEqual Opportunity Employer.
