Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (0700–1930) | 12-Hour Shifts | 4 Shifts per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients on a telemetry unit, interpreting cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina or a compact state
• Current BLS certification
• Prior experience in a telemetry or cardiac step-down nursing setting
• Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification
• Experience working in a high-volume acute care hospital environment
