Proposal Coordinator

The Technical Assessment Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the Technical Assessment Group (TAG), a team responsible for evaluating and coordinating technical requirements associated with new business opportunities. This position serves as a central point of coordination for incoming RFPs, capability requests, and other new-business opportunities. The Coordinator reviews and triages requests, identifies the relevant scientific and technical service areas, assigns work to appropriate TAG resources, monitors workload and deadlines, and maintains accurate tracking and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a life science discipline and professional experience in a laboratory, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, or bioanalytical environment . The individual should be highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and capable of understanding scientific information well enough to route requests to the appropriate technical resources. Support the day-to-day operations of the Technical Assessment Group (TAG). Review incoming RFPs, RFQs, capability requests, and new-business opportunities. Use scientific knowledge to understand technical requirements and requested services. Identify relevant bioanalytical, laboratory, and scientific service areas. Triage requests based on complexity, service area, and established criteria. Assign requests to appropriate TAG resources based on workload and capacity. Monitor team workload and identify capacity constraints or workload imbalances. Maintain accurate tracking of requests, assignments, status, and deliverables. Update RFP and workflow information in Proposal Hub and other systems. Monitor deadlines and proactively follow up on outstanding activities. Identify overdue actions, workflow bottlenecks, and potential timeline risks. Coordinate with Business Development, Laboratory Operations, Finance, and technical teams. Maintain accurate data for workload planning, metrics, and KPI reporting. Support analysis of request volumes, turnaround times, and workload distribution. Assist with improving operational tracking, reporting, and workflow processes. Support preparation of work scopes for established routine services. Use approved templates, assumptions, and established processes for routine work. Escalate complex technical assessments and non-standard requests to senior resources. Bachelor's degree required in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field. Prefer 2-5 years of experience in CRO, bioanalytical, pharmaceutical, biotech, or laboratory environments. #J-18808-Ljbffr
