If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc. **Job Summary** The **Assistant Food and Beverage Manager** supports the daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring efficient service, well-stocked bar areas, and satisfied guests. This role works closely with the F&B team to supervise shifts, address guest needs, and maintain high standards of service and operational excellence. **Key Responsibilities** + Oversee daily food and beverage operations to ensure efficient, high-quality service across all outlets + Supervise and support front-of-house and bar staff during scheduled shifts + Assist with guest requests and resolve service issues promptly and professionally + Monitor and maintain bar inventory, ensuring proper stocking levels of beverages and supplies + Run shift operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff coordination, and service flow management + Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager to implement operational policies and service standards + Train and mentor staff on service protocols, guest interaction, and operational procedures + Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations throughout all shifts **Required Qualifications** + Previous experience in a food and beverage, restaurant, or hospitality supervisory role + Strong communication and interpersonal skills for guest and staff interactions + Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed + Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment + Basic knowledge of bar operations, inventory management, and beverage service + Preferred Qualifications + Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field + Prior experience running shifts or managing small teams in an F&B setting + Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory tracking tools + Alcohol service certification (e.g., TIPS or equivalent) is a plus Competitive salary + bonus potential Comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision) Paid time off & holiday pay Marriott travel discounts worldwide _This company is an equal opportunity employer._ frnch1
