This full-time position will primarily be conducted in a remote setting, allowing you to deliver exceptional mental health support through telehealth services. Work Environment\n

As a fully remote role, this position offers flexibility while allowing counselors to engage with patients through our advanced telehealth platform. You will benefit from a collaborative environment, supported by regular team meetings and case consultations to discuss patient progress and share insights. While the primary hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, occasional evening and weekend shifts will be part of a rotating schedule to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, focusing on their severity, frequency, and impact on daily life.

• Work closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans, integrating their goals, preferences, and unique challenges into a cohesive therapeutic strategy.

• Implement evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate positive behavioral changes and enhance coping skills.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and essential self-care practices, empowering them to take an active role in their healing process.

• Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed, and documenting changes in conditions, interventions, and client feedback in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure holistic client care, integrating pharmacological treatments as appropriate.

• Stay informed about the latest research and therapeutic practices in the field of mood disorders, ensuring that treatment methods are current and effective.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment outcomes, ensuring both confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work primarily with adults experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.
