Tax Associate

Job Title: Tax Associate Location: New York, NY Type: Contract Pay Range $25.00/hr - $27.00/hr Primary Responsibilities Assist Financial Advisors via MSSN/PSN calls and Case Management tickets related to Tax Operations. Review Year End Processing, Mass corrections, IRS Files, Reclasses. Process daily reconciliation and ad hoc break report reviews. Create and review audit procedure documentation. Apply knowledge of IRS Chapter 3 & 4 NRA and FATCA regulations. Understand withholding and reporting requirements. Familiarity with client account classifications, tax document requirements, and withholding/reporting. Proficiency in Excel and relevant computer programs. Requirements Ability to work independently and within a team. Excellent time management, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively. Attention to detail and quality of work. Sound and decisive judgment. Commitment to personal development. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree. Prior experience in the Financial Industry (highly preferred). Understanding of client service and process controls. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
