Qualifications

• State License License must be in hand at time of application.
• Certifications BLS (AHA). Willing to obtain allowed for BLS (AHA).
• Specialty Experience 1+ years of experience in Medical-Surgical in last 3 years.
• Travel Experience 6 weeks of travel experience.
• EMR Cerner
• Skills Assessment MES skills assessment with 2.7+ score.
• References 2 Supervisor references within the last 2 years.
• Additional Confirmations I have not requested more than two holidays off during my assignment.
• Additional Confirmations I have not worked as a permanent employee at this facility in the two years.
• Additional Confirmations I am willing to float
• Additional Confirmations Cardiac Monitoring experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Telemetry - remote monitoring and Use of Rapid Response Teams experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Colostomy Care and colostomy/ileostomy management/care experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Feeding tube care and management experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management and Renal failure experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, and starting and maintaining IVs experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Proficiency in Heparin, Insulin, and PCA administration is required.
• Additional Confirmations Spinal cord injuries experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Ortho trauma experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with surgical drains is required.
• Additional Confirmations CPAP/BiPAP management/maintenance, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral suctioning, Oxygen administration (including face masks and portable tanks), Pre/Post Thoracic Surgery, and Tracheostomy care/management experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Isolation Precautions/PPE and Wound Care/Wound Vac experience is required.
• Flu Vaccine (Current Season) Must be for the current flu season. Medical and religious declinations are accepted. Willing to obtain allowed.
• Travel Contract Must travel at least 50.0 miles to receive a travel stipend. Local candidates are eligible, but the pay package may adjust the rate by a few dollars per hour, will not contain a travel stipend, and will be entirely taxable.
• Requested Time Off Up to 5 days of time off can be requested.
