Description: Seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a travel contract. The position requires working night shifts on a 3x12-hour schedule. The contract length is for 13 weeks. The candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of experience. Certification in BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and either CRT or RRT is required. The role entails performing respiratory procedures and providing care for patients of various age groups, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The therapist will assist with aerosol setups, interpretation of arterial blood gases, and management of tracheostomies among other responsibilities. The facility supports an interdisciplinary approach, and additional skills in adult critical care and assisting in high-risk deliveries are preferred. Weekend coverage is mandatory, with expectations for every other weekend. All requests for time off must be included with the submission for consideration. Floater capacity is required between similar units. References from recent roles will be necessary for compliance. This position does not require on-call responsibilities. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in the required skills for everyday patient care and emergency responses.
