Food Service Cook

Shift:

• AM Cook: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
• PM Cook: 4:30 PM - 12:30 AM
• (must be flexible)

Pay: $15

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

We are seeking dependable and experienced Food Service Cooks to join a busy hospital kitchen team in Oklahoma City. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced food service environment and have experience working in restaurants. The hospital serves more than 700 guests daily, making efficiency, attention to detail, and reliability essential to success.

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and production schedules
• Perform food preparation tasks, including cutting, portioning, and batching ingredients
• Work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen environment
• Support tray line operations to ensure accurate and timely meal delivery
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hospital guidelines
• Monitor food quality and presentation standards

• Minimum 2 years of restaurant or food service experience
• Experience with cooking and food preparation in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to maintain quality and efficiency during busy meal periods

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oklahoma City, OK.

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
