Shift: AM Cook: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM, PM Cook: 4:30 PM - 12:30 AM (must be flexible)

Job Description
We are seeking dependable and experienced Food Service Cooks to join a busy hospital kitchen team in Oklahoma City. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced food service environment and have experience working in restaurants. The hospital serves more than 700 guests daily, making efficiency, attention to detail, and reliability essential to success.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and production schedules
- Perform food preparation tasks, including cutting, portioning, and batching ingredients
- Work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen environment
- Support tray line operations to ensure accurate and timely meal delivery
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hospital guidelines
- Monitor food quality and presentation standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of restaurant or food service experience
- Experience with cooking and food preparation in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain quality and efficiency during busy meal periods

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oklahoma City, OK.
Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
