Senior Property Accountant

This is a unique opportunity to join a growing, real estate firm that is consistently growing their footprint nationally. About Our Client: Our client is a 3rd party, fee-managed firm, focused on conventional, market-rate and affordable multifamily housing and dedicated to building a best-in-class portfolio. Your Responsibilities: Oversee a team of 4-5 accountants, providing consistent leadership and guidance Review and approve monthly financial statements Confirm rental income and expenses match actual bank activity across all properties Monitor cash flow across bank accounts and ensure funds are moving where they should Ensure mortgage payments, insurance, and property taxes are paid accurately and on time Prepare financial reports for monthly P&L review meetings with leadership The Skills and Experience You Bring: 1 to 3 years of accounting experience, specifically in multifamily as a senior or manager Comfortable reconciling property management financials against bank activity Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple properties simultaneously Self-sufficient and comfortable working on a lean team Clear communicator who can present financial information directly to ownership Perks and Benefits You'll Receive: Base salary starting at $95,000, depending on experience Opportunity to grow with a firm actively expanding its portfolio #J-18808-Ljbffr
