Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial and ongoing culturally sensitive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs and effectively develop treatment plans that respect their backgrounds.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and family systems therapy, while tailoring approaches to your clients' individual circumstances.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions to address a range of mental health issues, considering the unique experiences and cultural factors of each client.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated care and continuity of services.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for clients facing mental health emergencies, utilizing your skills to de-escalate situations effectively.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, treatment pathways, and available community resources to foster empowerment and informed decision-making.
\n
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR), ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards of practice.

• Participate actively in team discussions, case reviews, and cultural competence training to continuously enhance service delivery.

• Pursue ongoing professional development to stay updated on the latest research and treatment best practices in mental health therapy.

You will primarily serve clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, requiring a strong commitment to inclusivity and sensitivity in your practice. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and cultural competence in therapy approaches.

• Previous experience providing both individual and group therapy using culturally responsive methods.
\n
• Exceptional crisis intervention skills, with the ability to navigate challenging scenarios while remaining composed and effective.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with a diverse clientele.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and proficiency in using digital communication tools.

• Commitment to ethical practices, maintaining professional boundaries, and respecting client confidentiality.

Compensation and Benefits\n
