Lead Restoration Technician

Property Damage Restoration/Mitigation Lead Technician We are seeking a full-time Property Damage Restoration/Mitigation Lead Technician to join our growing team and to take care of our customers in southern and central Idaho and beyond. Our company is a local, family-owned mitigation and remediation business that responds to real and personal property damage caused by water, fire, mold, and biohazard (i.e., crime scene/trauma, etc.) Customer satisfaction is our primary objective, so it is important you have excellent communication skills with our customers, partners, and team. This is a full‑time position. Holidays, evenings and weekends may be required; therefore, you must be flexible. A strong sense of customer service is vital to this role, as is the ability to lead, teach, learn, adapt, and follow instructions. You will be given a high level of autonomy, so you must be trustworthy. IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT, AMRT, TCST, etc.) and asbestos/lead certifications are valued. If you already have one or more of them, you can look forward to a higher pay rate. Experience in one or more of the following mitigation/remediation disciplines (water, fire, mold, biohazard mitigation/remediation) or in one or more of the following construction/demolition disciplines (general construction, framing, demolition) is required. We will train and certify the right candidate. Job Description As a lead you will direct work processes, employees, subcontractors, and other aspects of field work while working with various types of equipment within homes and businesses occupied by one or more occupants. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, leading people and processes, administering company‑provided policies and practices, providing a safe environment for work and occupancy, delivering excellent customer service, executing meticulous and generic demolition of residential and commercial building materials, structural drying/salvage/monitoring, safe vehicle/equipment operation, mobile technology documentation, and many others. Other specific responsibilities may involve working with mold, asbestos, lead, and various chemicals, and working in confined spaces such as attics and/or crawlspaces may be required.
