Job Description Performs a variety of food and guest service duties under general supervision. This position includes the following roles, which will vary by facility need: patient meal tray assembly and delivery, cashier, food assembly, food serving, and cleaning. Role: Nutrition Care Associate on our Food & Nutrition Services team, you’ll support patient care and enhance the patient experience by delivering and presenting high-quality, nourishing meals for inpatients, visitors, and the public. Company Background Founded in 1910, Holy Rosary Hospital is a comprehensive acute-care hospital in Miles City that serves an 11-county region of eastern Montana. It includes physician clinics, a residential living community, hospice and palliative care services. Schedule and Hours Schedule: Full time (40 hours) Shifts: 1st shift (5:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.) and 2nd shift (11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.) with weekend and holiday rotations. Current opening is on 1st shift. Final shift assignment will be discussed during the interview process. Location Holy Rosary Hospital, Miles City, Montana Compensation The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. $17.68 - $22.99 Benefits Benefits Eligible: Yes - Link to Benefit Details Uniforms are provided Essential Functions Delivers and presents trays to patients using the standard process. Performs food preparation functions according to system standards (following standard recipe, assembling ingredients) for example, prepares salads, sandwiches, vegetables, and fruit. Fails standardized practices relating to Nutrition Services (e.g. dining experience, meal delivery, maintaining required stock levels). Performs housekeeping functions including cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, floor care, and equipment (oven, fryer, hoods). Performs accurate cash/credit transactions according to system standards and independently resolves basic customer service issues. Demonstrated ability to work with modified diets (preferred) Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service (preferred) Physical Requirements Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs. Frequent interactions with customers that require employee to communicate as well as understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately. Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer, phone, and cable set-up and use. Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transport, pull, and push equipment. Will also work on hands and knees and bend to set-up, troubleshoot, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items. Remain standing for long periods of time to perform work. Tolerate extremes in temperature such as performing work at a grill or in a refrigerator and tolerate exposure to cleaning chemicals. Other Details All positions subject to close without notice.
