Marketing Manager (SEO, Content, Digital Growth) Location: Richmond, VA (In-Office Position) Compensation: Full-Time, $55,000–$65,000 + growth upside About the Opportunity Peak Property Management is building one of the most dominant residential property management brands in Virginia and we are looking for a hands‑on Marketing Manager to help us win locally in every market we operate in. This is for someone who: Wants to own the marketing function Brings ideas proactively, not just execution Thrives in‑person , embedded with the team and the business Studies the craft and stays ahead of trends without being asked Loves working with others and doing their part to support a strong team. Is well‑rounded and resourceful You will be responsible for improving and executing the strategy that drives our organic growth, digital presence, and brand authority across multiple markets. There is no layer above you. You are the driver and the team will rely on you to create and carry the company's marketing initiatives. What This Role Really Is You are the internal marketing engine You are in the office , collaborating, filming, brainstorming, and executing You are proactively bringing ideas weekly , not waiting for direction You are deep in the industry , learning competitors, trends, and opportunities You are both strategist AND doer If you prefer constant direction or remote work this will not be a fit. Core Responsibilities Content & Brand Building Create blogs, web copy, captions, and long‑form content Generate content ideas from real operations (not just theory) Capture content in the field when needed (properties, team, etc.) Direct video and creative assets with editors/designers Not just post content, but can optimize the content posted for strong and effective engagement and visibility. Manage newsletter and ebook campaigns Reputation & Authority Own review strategy and online reputation Improve ratings, responses, and overall sentiment Expand presence on platforms like Reddit and niche communities Podcast & Distribution Support Optimize podcast content for SEO and discoverability Write descriptions, titles, and supporting content Help expand reach through organic channels AI & Modern Search (AIO) Leverage AI tools to improve content, visibility, and efficiency Stay ahead of how AI is changing search and discovery Implement new strategies without needing permission SEO & Organic Growth (alongside an outsourced SEO team) Own and execute SEO strategy across all markets Build location‑specific dominance in local search Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and content planning Write and publish high‑quality, SEO‑optimized content Optimize Google Business Profiles (posts, photos, FAQs, updates) Continuously test, refine, and improve rankings and traffic What Success Looks Like (Non‑Negotiable Outcomes) Rankings increase across every target market Organic leads grow consistently month over month Website converts at a higher rate Google Business profiles outperform competitors Content is being published consistently—and outperforming You bring new ideas regularly and execute on them quickly You operate with ownership, urgency, and accountability You are able to learn and understand the industry, our target market, and can articulate our culture and core values.
