Data Engineer (Remote)

Collaborating within an agile team, the full-time remote Data Engineer (Snowflake/DataStage) will create and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data integrity and quality for strategic business use. Key responsibilities Develop optimal data integration and transformation solutions while documenting and analyzing data requirements Build and maintain data pipelines using various tools and practices, ensuring modularity for code reuse Monitor data quality, participate in code reviews, and implement transformation rules to address emerging issues Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, statistics, economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience 4+ years of experience in data preparation, SQL, and ETL/ELT/data pipeline design Hands-on experience with data integration platforms such as IBM DataStage and familiarity with data warehouse MPP platforms like Snowflake Experience in agile development environments with a focus on Continuous Integration and Delivery Proficiency in SQL coding and familiarity with streaming technologies and API management platforms
