Joining this team means more than taking a job—it means helping shape the future of emergency response and building a safer, more connected world.Your ImpactAs a SeniorTechnical Project Manager, you'll lead the successful delivery of mission-critical cloud and IT deployments that power emergency communications for public safety agencies across the country. You'll oversee projects from kickoff through go-live, ensuring implementations are delivered on time while coordinating technical and operational resources across Axon 911, our partners, and our customers. Serving as the primary technical liaison, you'll work closely with engineering, product, implementation teams, and public safety stakeholders to scope technical requirements, drive cloud deployments and system integrations, and ensure seamless cutovers into production. This role requires balancing technical expertise with exceptional project leadership, building trusted relationships with customers, and delivering solutions that directly support first responders and the communities they serve when every second matters. What You’ll Do Lead end-to-end deployment of cloud-based platforms, including system configuration, testing, and go-live supportCollaborate with customers, partners, and internal teams to implement scalable, secure, and resilient IT solutions tailored for public safetyCreate/manage project and technical implementation plans (e.g., infrastructure readiness, data flows, failover testing)Coordinate with DevOps, R&D, and Solution Architects to align product capabilities with deployment requirementsManage expectations across stakeholders, resolve issues proactively, and ensure milestone deliveryFacilitate system handovers to customer IT teams and lead onboarding/training where requiredIdentify post-deployment support needs and optimization opportunities for add-on servicesWhat You BringPMP or CAPM certifiedHave 5+ years of experience managing global technical projects, preferably within a B2B SaaS, IT, or cloud services companyAre experienced in leading cross-functional teams through cloud or hybrid infrastructure implementationsPossess strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking concepts, and cloud deployment models (AWS, Azure, etc.)Have a proven ability to translate customer needs into actionable technical plansThrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup culture and are confident interfacing with both technical and executive stakeholdersAre open to domestic travel to support project execution and client success (up to 20% or more)Nice-to-Haves:Experience with ESInet and NG911 i3-compliant technologiesFamiliarity with systems used by PSAPs or other emergency servicesHands-on experience managing projects involving cloud-native architectures or real-time communication platformsDemonstrated ability using AI tools, cross-platform integrations, and innovative toolsWork LocationThis role requires working onsite from our regional hub Tuesday through Friday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays.Benefits that Benefit You Competitive salary and 401k with employer matchDiscretionary paid time offPaid parental leave for allMedical, Dental, Vision plansFitness ProgramsEmotional & Mental Wellness supportLearning & Development programsAnd yes, we have snacks in our officesBenefits listed herein may vary depending on the nature of your employment and the location where you work.Pay TransparencyAxon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between $100,050.00 in the lowest geographic market and $176,000.00 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
