The Purchaser is responsible for ensuring that the correct material, equipment, and services are sourced for the projects, considering risk profile considerations, and commercial alignment with company and project requirements.Key Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:Support and standardize procurement processes, procedures, and best practices.Develop procurement plans based on project schedules, risks, and requirements.Source, evaluate, and manage vendors and subcontractors throughout the full procurement cycle.Review procurement activities, identify risks, and support cost savings and risk mitigation.Manage purchase orders, subcontract agreements, approvals, documentation, and records.Ensure commercial risks and prime contract requirements are incorporated into vendor/subcontractor terms.Participate in contract reviews, project kickoffs, and project meetings to understand requirements.Lead weekly procurement meetings for active projects.Maintain strong vendor relationships and support supplier management initiatives.Support junior team members and identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency.As a condition of employment, candidates will be required to complete pre-employment screening including professional reference checks and a criminal record check.
