Senior Interior Designer

Position Summary
We are seeking a creative and client-focused Senior Designer to lead workplace design projects within the contract furniture industry. This role will collaborate with sales teams, clients, and manufacturers to develop innovative workplace environments that support organizational goals while delivering exceptional design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and design of commercial workplace, education, healthcare, and corporate interior projects
- Conduct programming, space planning, furniture planning, and design presentations
- Develop furniture specifications, finish selections, and installation documentation
- Create detailed drawings and renderings using industry-standard design software
- Collaborate with sales representatives to develop strategic design solutions that support business development efforts
- Present concepts and recommendations to clients and project stakeholders
- Mentor junior designers and support team development
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
- 5+ years of contract furniture or commercial interior design experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, CET, SketchUp, Revit, and Microsoft Office
- Strong understanding of commercial furniture manufacturers and workplace trends
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- NCIDQ certification preferred
