Job Locations:West Reading, PA, United StatesWestminster, MD, United StatesBaltimore, MD, United StatesResponsibilities:The Cytotechnologist is responsible for performing microscopic examinations, providing final interpretations of normal gynecological specimens, providing initial interpretations of non-gynecological, FNA and abnormal gynecological specimens using standardized procedures; assisting in the collection and preparation of FNA and biopsy specimens for immediate evaluation; understanding method principles; performing quality control and quality assurance activities and evaluating results based on patient demographics and history.The Cytotechnologist works independently, organizing work to meet established deadlines and validates all data obtained.Qualifications:4 years/bachelor's degree.ASCP eligible.
