Real Estate Finance Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid to senior level associate to join its Real Estate Finance group in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, law firm or clerking experience, and excellent research, writing, and communication skills. Duties Originate loans for large structured commercial real estate finance transactions Manage asset management and workout processes Draft primary loan documents and manage transactions from inception to post-closing Handle secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies Requirements 3+ years of broad real estate finance experience Experience with mezzanine loans and preferred equity Ability to navigate complex subject matter effectively Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Active bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice. Skills Strong research, writing, and communication skills. Team-oriented with ambition and drive.
