Quality Inspector

We’re hiring a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to support inspection of in-process and finished products in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring products meet all quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect in-process and completed products to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and procedures

• Perform product and process audits as required

• Record inspection results in the quality management system

• Identify defects and generate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)

• Create Quality Control Plans (QCPs) for new builds and production runs

• Read and interpret blueprints, BOMs, SOPs, and engineering documentation

• Use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures

Department Breakdown

Box Build

• Inspect finished box assemblies and small components

• Follow detailed customer instructions

• Perform visual inspections with occasional measurement checks

Wire Harness

• Inspect harnesses during assembly in a cell-based environment

• Work closely with assemblers on the production floor

• Use microscopes and measurement tools to inspect wiring and small components

Qualifications

• Ability to identify defects and maintain high attention to detail

• Comfortable reading blueprints and technical documentation

• Basic experience with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)

• Ability to analyze issues, collect data, and make sound decisions

Preferred (not required):

• Experience with PCB inspection, cable, or box build assemblies

• Knowledge of IPC-610 / IPC-620 standards or J-STD certification

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and use hands regularly throughout shift

• Ability to use a microscope for extended periods

• Lift up to 20 lbs as needed

• Strong visual acuity (20/20 vision, with or without correction)

• Ability to distinguish colors clearly

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
