Shift: 8hr Day Shift (40) Shift Information: 8:00-4:30 Mon-Thur & 7:30-4:00 on Friday Clinical Interviewing- Yes On Call, Call Back Requirements: None Weekend Rotation: None Holiday Requirements: None Floating Requirements : None

About Facility:

General Information:

• Beds: 10 on each side, so 20 rooms total
• Average patients/day: 60-80

Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years, clinic or inpatient/acute care experience is acceptable

Will you accept a first-time traveler: Yes

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: General family medicine – birth to geriatrics with some OB patients . 35% well visits, 15% acutely sick, and many chronic disease management patients.

Patient Ratios: N/A

Required Licensure & Certifications: BLS

Skills required:

• This position will primarily be phone triage, in basket management, and medication refills.
• Ideal if they're comfortable giving adult vaccinations. May help room patients and get vitals on occasion
• Sometimes will see patients that need IV fluids. RN will start IV if needed. This is rare.
• RNs will respond to any emergency situation that happens in the clinic

Support within the Department:

• MAs (will do phlebotomy)
• Patient Care Reps at front desk
• Lead Nurse
• Site Supervisor
• PT
• X-ray
• Diabetic educator in the clinic on Tuesdays

Technology/Equipment:

• EMR: EPIC – preferred but not required if strong RN
• IV Pumps: Alaris

Floating: If yes, where: No

Orientation (facility and unit) : Will work with the lead RN and be trained for about a week. Can have more if needed.

Scheduling:

• Weekend rotation: none
• On call: none
• Holiday Expectations: none
• Approval of RTO: 7 days ok; any days surrounding holidays need to go to manager
• Shift times: Monday – Thursday, 0830-1700, Friday 0730-1600
• Schedule cycle: see above
