Senior Finance Analyst

Senior Finance AnalystSupporting site controllership in all aspects of operational finance for the company's site in Middleton, WI, the Senior Finance Analyst is responsible for cross-functional support through monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting. This individual supports monthly close activities, margin and variance analysis, and drives process improvement. The position will lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles for assigned functions, providing insights into financial performance, risks, and opportunities.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to capably perform each of the following essential duties:Supports site performance through monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, margin analysis, and standard reporting. Contributes to monthly reporting cycles, annual planning processes, and ad-hoc requests. Self-starter who can take a project from start to completion.Applies independent judgment to analyze financial results, identify trends, and recommend solutions. Continuously seeks opportunities to improve reporting, processes, and business performance.Performs a blend of tactical and strategic responsibilities, including financial reporting, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and business decision supportPartners with Finance, Site Leadership, Operations, Supply Chain, and other Support Functions across multiple locations. Interacts with auditors and other business partners as needed.Prepares and presents financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses. Communicates financial results and recommendations to business leaders. Keeps leadership apprised of key risks and opportunities.
