Shipping And Receiving Clerk

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Shipping and Receiving Clerk candidates in the Saint Charles, IL area.

Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments of paper, ink, packaging materials, and other printing supplies.
• Inspect deliveries for accuracy, quality, and damage against purchase orders.
• Operate PIV equipment, including forklifts, to unload, move, stage, and store materials safely.
• Prepare finished print jobs for shipment, including labeling, packaging, palletizing, and shrink-wrapping.
• Load outbound shipments using forklifts or pallet jacks as required.
• Generate, verify, and maintain shipping documentation such as packing slips, bills of lading, and invoices.
• Coordinate shipments using UPS, FedEx, LTL carriers, or company-approved freight services.
• Track outgoing shipments and communicate delays or discrepancies to production and customer service teams.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe shipping and receiving areas.
• Update inventory and shipping transactions accurately in internal systems.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines when operating equipment.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One or more years of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience preferred; printing or manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial vehicles (PIV); certification preferred or ability to obtain.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle documentation accurately.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory or shipping systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
