Responsable de realizar el proceso de investigación sobre reclamaciones de seguros de auto y gestionar la compensación correspondiente según las políticas y procedimientos establecidos por la compañía. Educación y/o experiencia: Bachillerato de Universidad Acreditada y dos (2) años de experiencia como ajustador de seguros. Grado Asociado de Universidad Acreditada y mínimo de cuatro (4) años de experiencia como ajustador de seguros. Excelentes destrezas interpersonales, servicio y resolución de conflictos. Habilidad para definir problemas, coleccionar información, establecer hechos y llegar a conclusiones válidas. Capacidad de manejar altos volúmenes de trabajo y cumplir fechas establecidas. Manejo de varias tareas simultáneamente estableciendo prioridades. Conocimiento en el manejo de sistemas de computadora y manejo del teclado. Responsabilidades: Evalúa, analiza e investiga la solicitud de reclamación y verifica la póliza para determinar si cubre los costos de la reclamación. Obtiene información y documentación relevante al caso. Revisa reservas cuando hay más de dos perjudicados envueltos. Refiere el caso a peritaje cuando así lo amerite. Evalúa daños y prepara estimados de los mismos. Prepara informes sobre la investigación, ajuste y recomendación en el caso. Atiende llamadas, documenta en sistemas y mantiene comunicación directa con clientes externos e internos. Realiza negociación y transa reclamaciones de severidad de daños físicos de automóvil con asegurados y reclamantes. Prepara los referidos a la Unidad de Investigaciones Especiales, cuando sea necesario. Prepara la documentación necesaria para procesar el pago y/o cerrar la reclamación sin pago. Completa todos los formularios que requiere el procedimiento para documentar la reclamación. Asegura cumplir con indicadores de producción establecidos. Participa de proyectos y tareas especiales, según solicitado. Licencias y/o certificaciones: Se requiere licencia de Ajustador de Seguros emitida por el Comisionado de Seguros de Puerto Rico. Para la ejecución óptima de sus funciones se podrían requerir licencias o certificaciones adicionales relacionadas al puesto. Dominio del idioma español oral, escrito y hablado.
