Through compassionate care, clinical excellence, and meaningful engagement, our nursing team helps create an environment where Villagers can thrive.Position PurposeThe RN Supervisor provides clinical leadership and day-to-day support within the Skilled Nursing Facility, ensuring Villagers receive high-quality, person-centered care while supporting the nursing team in delivering consistent and compassionate services.This role serves as a working nursing leader—balancing direct resident care, staff supervision, infection prevention activities, and operational support. The RN Supervisor partners closely with the Director of Nursing and Nursing Home Administrator to promote quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, and an exceptional Villager experience.This is a non-exempt, working nursing leadership position. In addition to providing supervision and clinical oversight, the RN Supervisor is expected to actively participate in direct nursing care, including medication administration, treatment delivery, and assigned medication cart responsibilities. The role balances leadership, clinical expertise, staffing support, and hands-on nursing care to ensure exceptional outcomes for Villagers.Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupporting Quality Clinical CareServe as a working RN Supervisor by maintaining regular medication cart responsibilities as part of the daily duties of the position while also providing clinical leadership, direct nursing care, and operational support.Ensure Villagers receive safe, effective, and person-centered nursing care.Monitor clinical needs and changes in condition, ensuring appropriate intervention and follow-up.Conduct routine rounds and support care planning, assessments, and interdisciplinary coordination.Leading and Supporting Nursing StaffProvide day-to-day leadership, coaching, training and support to nursing team members.Reinforce accountability, professionalism, and high standards of care.Support onboarding, training, and ongoing staff development.Foster teamwork, collaboration, and a culture of service excellence.Infection Prevention and SafetySupport infection prevention activities in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.Monitor infection control practices and provide education and guidance to staff.Promote a safe environment for Villagers, employees, families, and visitors.Operations, Compliance, and QualitySupport compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards.Participate in quality assurance, performance improvement, and regulatory readiness activities.Partner with nursing leadership to identify opportunities to improve resident outcomes and operational effectiveness.Staffing and SchedulingShare responsibility for staffing coordination, scheduling, shift coverage, and staffing adjustments.Support staffing decisions that balance quality care, employee well-being, and operational effectiveness.Communication and CollaborationMaintain open communication with Villagers, families, healthcare providers, and team members.Foster collaboration across departments to ensure coordinated care and a seamless Villager experience.Other ResponsibilitiesSupport organizational initiatives and special projects.Perform other duties in the best interest of Annandale Village and the Villagers we serve.Required QualificationsActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia.Graduate of an accredited nursing program.Minimum of four (4) years of nursing experience.Previous leadership or charge nurse experience preferred.Infection Preventionist Certification (IPC) preferred or willingness to obtain certification within an established timeframe.Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities preferred.Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office applications and electronic health record systems.Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and make sound clinical decisions.Employment RequirementsMust be at least 18 years of age.Valid Georgia Class C Driver's License, proof of insurance, and acceptable MVR.Must pass GBI and FBI background checks (including fingerprinting).Must pass drug screening and tuberculosis screening.Physical RequirementsAbility to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and assist individuals throughout the day.Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and up to 75 pounds with assistance.Ability to assist Villagers with mobility, transfers, and transportation needs.Ability to safely perform medication administration, treatments, and other nursing responsibilities.Ability to perform CPR, First Aid, and emergency response duties as required.Personal Skills and TraitsStrong clinical judgment and nursing leadership skills.Commitment to person-centered care and Villager dignity.Ability to remain calm, professional, and effective during emergencies and high-pressure situations.Strong interpersonal, coaching, and relationship-building skills.Clear and respectful communicator.Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.High level of accountability, integrity, and professionalism.Commitment to teamwork, continuous improvement, and service excellence.Why Work at Annandale VillageAt Annandale Village, you're part of something bigger—creating meaningful lives through connection, care, and community.We offer:Health, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off (PTO)403(b) retirement plan with employer matchProfessional development opportunitiesEmployee recognition and appreciation programsAcknowledgementThis job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities and may be modified as needed to meet organizational needs.Happiness Works Here.
