Role Description The Front Desk Associate is a full-time, on-site position based at Lowell Inn in Stillwater, MN. This role is responsible for greeting guests, managing check-in and check-out processes, and handling reservations and inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email. The Front Desk Associate answers calls, provides information about rooms, amenities, and local attractions, and coordinates with housekeeping and other departments to support smooth daily operations. Additional responsibilities include seating guests in the restaurant, helping servers give exceptional service to diners, promptly addressing guest concerns or requests, and maintaining a tidy and organized front desk area. The role requires consistent professionalism, reliability, and a guest-first mindset during all shifts. Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with guests and colleagues. Proficiency in phone etiquette and receptionist duties, including managing multiple calls and inquiries efficiently. Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with reservation or property management systems and standard office software. Ability to handle cash and electronic payments accurately, with attention to detail and basic math skills. Previous experience in hospitality, front desk, or a customer-facing role is preferred but not required. Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
