Financial Management Analyst

Position You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the BUDGET DEPARTMENT, FUNDS MANAGEMENT DIVISION of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-05/08) grade level or (DA-02) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Familiarity with various sales order and funding portfolio transactions and procedures in NERP and G-Invoicing; Analyzing financial data, interpreting requests, and determining the correct course of action. This includes verifying funds availability and ensuring requests meet expense vs. investment criteria; Applying foundational knowledge of federal fiscal law, including the principles of purpose, time, and amount to ensure all financial transactions are legal and appropriate; Utilizing skills in reviewing and processing financial documents for accuracy and completeness; Understanding of the procedural steps required to accept and obligate funds in a federal environment; Conducting thorough reviews of funding documents and financial data, identifying errors, inconsistencies, or compliance issues before they become significant problems.
