Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Planning Analysis and Reporting Senior Accountant to participate in key accounting functions, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support financial decision-making. This role is responsible for managing complex accounting activities including specialized projects, supporting audits, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, budgeting and strengthening internal controls. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to improve processes. Key Responsibilities Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations Support with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting Support with the integrity of the general ledger and ensure compliance with accounting policies and standards Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responses to audit requests Identify, investigate, and resolve accounting discrepancies and unusual variances Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decisions Develop, document, and enhance accounting processes and internal controls Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and process alignment Support compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and company policies Participate in system improvements, automation initiatives, and ERP optimization efforts Prepare management reports and provide insights on financial performance and trends Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and close processes Experience preparing financial statements, reconciliations, and audit support documentation Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or reporting tools Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across departments Preferred Skills Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement stronger controls Experience with financial analysis, variance reporting, and management reporting #J-18808-Ljbffr
