Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of acute inpatient experience for a Level 1 trauma center, requiring MA licensure and EPIC EMR proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Acute care, inpatient setting at a Level 1 trauma center
- Highly complex patient population with average daily census of 185-200+
- Day shifts, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Productivity expectations average 7 patient visits per 8-hour shift
- Utilizes EPIC EMR; prior experience required
- Must complete a one-week orientation and competency check-off, including either EPIC test-out or orientation
- Membership of current therapy team includes 17 PTs and 3 PTAs
- Pass/fail testing in Tele/ECG and Medication required for some campuses
- All former employees must have at least a 6-month break in service before consideration
- No local candidates allowed within 50 miles
- Flu documentation is required during flu season
- Parking costs can be up to $43 per day at some locations
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute inpatient physical therapy experience required
- Active MA PT license required if applicable
- Experience with EPIC EMR required
- Vaccination for COVID-19 (including booster) and Flu required, with medical exemptions allowed
