Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of acute inpatient experience for a Level 1 trauma center, requiring MA licensure and EPIC EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Acute care, inpatient setting at a Level 1 trauma center
• Highly complex patient population with average daily census of 185-200+
• Day shifts, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Productivity expectations average 7 patient visits per 8-hour shift
• Utilizes EPIC EMR; prior experience required
• Must complete a one-week orientation and competency check-off, including either EPIC test-out or orientation
• Membership of current therapy team includes 17 PTs and 3 PTAs
• Pass/fail testing in Tele/ECG and Medication required for some campuses
• All former employees must have at least a 6-month break in service before consideration
• No local candidates allowed within 50 miles
• Flu documentation is required during flu season
• Parking costs can be up to $43 per day at some locations

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute inpatient physical therapy experience required
• Active MA PT license required if applicable
• Experience with EPIC EMR required
• Vaccination for COVID-19 (including booster) and Flu required, with medical exemptions allowed
