Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred, candidates with 1-2 years of experience may be considered after manager review License: Valid state nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Experience in telemedicine Skill in IV starts Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the PCU Float Pool. The nurse will work night shifts for 12 hours. Candidates with 1 to 2 years of experience may be considered but will require management approval for offers. The float pool may require assignments at various facilities. Traveling between units of similar or lower acuity may be necessary. The estimated patient ratios are 1:3-4. Candidates must possess skills in IV starts and telemetry. Compliance with infection control policies and safety protocols is mandatory. Successful applicants will demonstrate experience with various patient care procedures. Applicants should have the ability to manage a diverse range of patient diagnoses. Familiarity with charting systems is preferred. Two professional references, including one from a supervisory role, will be required. Candidates must complete necessary compliance processes promptly after being selected. This role is essential in delivering high-quality care to patients.
