Registered Nurse - Oncology

Job Description

Job Summary:

Providing specialized nursing care to oncology patients, this role requires administering chemotherapy and managing related treatments. The position involves working closely with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy and other oncologic treatments following established protocols.
• Monitor patient responses and manage side effects or adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment procedures and expectations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care delivery and improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Possess at least 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with specific oncology background preferred.
• Required to have Chemotherapy Certification or Fundamentals of Chemotherapy through the Oncology Nursing Society.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Show proficiency in patient assessment, medication administration, and documentation.
