Job Summary and Responsibilities

In the role of Registered Nurse, you will be tasked with providing high-quality, patient-focused care that aligns with departmental requirements and state-specific standards of practice. You will collaborate with healthcare providers and the care team to deliver personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, adhering to established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." Additionally, you will serve as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying our organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure an exceptional patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.

• Evaluate the patient's condition upon admission and during each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in their status.
• Carry out procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of care in the patient's medical record.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic responses, and take appropriate actions in case of any adverse reactions.
• Deliver outstanding care by responding swiftly to patient requests, proactively anticipating their needs, and addressing them effectively.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring clarity by simplifying complex medical terminology.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification for Registered Nurses.
• Completion of ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy or ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy must be achieved within six months of starting employment.
• A diploma in Nursing, a Bachelor's degree, or an Associate degree in Nursing.
