Classification 1099 Contractor (Non-Exempt) Summary The primary function of the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is to plan, develop, and monitor a variety of behavioral support service delivery options to meet the needs of clients diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and/or other behavioral and social/communication challenges. The BCBA also consults with and teaches instructional team members regarding pro-active, educational programming, and behavioral supports; develops and implements comprehensive treatment plans; and collaborates with team members, related services providers, families, and other agencies as appropriate. The BCBA assists EIDBI clinics and provides ongoing training, observation, and direction to team members. Expectations Oversee the full range of ABA treatment services including assessment, programming, progress monitoring, program modification, parent training, care coordination with other providers. Ensures all standards of care are followed per state and insurance guidelines. Provide clinical recommendations regarding treatment intensity, modality, and transition/ exit planning, in collaboration with parents and other team members, with the emphasis on delivering developmentally appropriate and socially valid client outcomes. Evaluate and modify treatment based on Ainga quality standards. Provide training and supervision to all levels of clinical staff to ensure high quality treatment services. Supervise others with a focus on developing supervisees' independent clinical skills, problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, and fulfillment of certification requirements. Collaborate with other clinicians and cross functional team members. Complete all administrative tasks in a timely fashion, including but not limited to generating reports, reviewing client data, and completing clinical documents. Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills. Attend staff / agency meetings. Knowledge, Experience, and Key Competencies Experience working with adults, children, and families with mental health needs, including but not limited to trauma, anxiety, depression, ASD and other related conditions. Strong knowledge of behavioral principles and strategies related to ABA. Proficient in conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans. Competent in data collection and analysis skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, families, and team members. Ability to adapt interventions based on individual needs and progress. Professional and timely response with both verbal and non-verbal communications. Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications. Requirements Active BCBA Certification Master's preferred. Bachelor's acceptable with Certification.
