Technical Project Manager

Technical Project Manager – Conveying Systems (Transition Into Sales) Join a growing systems integrator designing and delivering process and packaging systems for food and beverage manufacturers . This role is ideal for a mechanical engineer or technical project manager with conveyor experience who wants to expand into a client-facing, commercial role. You’ll work directly with customers to scope, design, and deliver conveyor and material handling solutions —with the opportunity to grow into technical sales. What You’ll Do Partner with food and beverage manufacturers to understand process needs and develop system solutions Support project execution from design through installation , coordinating with internal engineering and fabrication teams Prepare project scopes, layouts, and cost estimates for conveyor and material handling systems Serve as a technical point of contact for customers , providing guidance and problem-solving Gradually take on client-facing and business development responsibilities (with training and support) What We’re Looking For 3–8+ years in mechanical engineering, project engineering, or technical project management Experience with conveying systems or material handling equipment (food production strongly preferred ) Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and system layouts Exposure to equipment design, fabrication, or installation Strong communication skills and interest in working directly with customers Nice to Have Experience in food & beverage manufacturing environments Background in process or packaging systems Familiarity with piping, controls, or system integration Interest in transitioning into a technical sales or client-facing role Why This Role Move beyond pure engineering into a hybrid technical + commercial career path Work on custom systems, not repetitive products Stay involved from concept to install Get hands-on exposure to customers, real-world applications, and business impact Training provided for those looking to grow into technical sales Compensation Salary commensurate with experience plus bonus potential.
