Firefly Children & Family Alliance is looking for a Receptionist in Lafayette, IN. In this role, you will assist eligible families in applying for and maintaining childcare voucher assistance to allow families to work or attend school/training programs. This position will report to the CCDF Director of Administration.

You Will:

Data Management and Tracking (20%)

• Ensure paperwork drop off log is completed for each client
• Ensure all guests sign in upon entry to the building as well as for appointments

Provide Internal and External Customer Service (70%)

• Direct telephone inquiries to the correct parties
• Screen walk-in guests and notify proper staff
• Answer questions and provide information and documentation as necessary

General Clerical and Admin (10%)

• Photocopying, faxing, filing, emailing
• Support program staff as needed

You Have:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Telephone experience in answering multiple incoming lines.
• Clerical experience.
• Knowledge of Computer and office equipment
• Acquire Knowledge of agencies programs.
• Ability to work with a team when applicable.
• Ability to respond appropriately to cultural differences among staff, clients and visitors.
• Fluency in at least two languages, including English
